The Recommendation Flipped to Schema-First

Do not submit the Wikidata items now
The Point

The entity gets built by the schema graph and the corroboration profiles. Wikidata is the last step, not the first, and it is optional.

My earlier version of this deliverable told you to submit both Wikidata items now. I'd hold off. A brand-new brand item and a matching founder Person item, created from a single-purpose account and both sourced only to your own website, is the exact pattern Wikidata reviewers treat as promotional spam.

Fresh, self-referential brand-plus-founder pairs from one account get speedy-deleted, and the account itself can get flagged. Submitting now is not a neutral bet with upside. It carries a real downside: a deletion and a flagged account make your second attempt harder, not easier.

The Notability Reality

Why the order matters
The Point

Submitting into an evidence base of zero independent press gets the item deleted. Earn one real source first, then submit.

Wikidata's notability policy (WD:N) accepts an item that refers to a clearly identifiable entity described by at least one serious, publicly available reference. That is more permissive than Wikipedia. But "serious, publicly available reference" in practice means independent of the subject. A 2023 jewelry startup whose only references are its own website does not clear that bar cleanly, and a reviewer will say so.

Independent press on Yoreh is effectively zero
Do Not Cite · Honeycombers Wrong entity entirely

An earlier draft leaned on a Honeycombers link as the notability reference. Discard it entirely. You told us the mention was about a coffee shop, not this brand. So it is not a weak citation, it is a citation for a different business.

This matters beyond Wikidata. It is the same confusion the baseline scan picked up in the models, where 19 answers described a cafe attached to the brand. Our own research had absorbed it too, which is worth saying plainly.

A citation a reviewer can falsify is worse than no citation. One pointing at the wrong entity is worse still.

The Citation That Is Actually Coming Cool Hunting

You told us Cool Hunting will publish a piece on the smart ring jackets. That is the independent, editorial, third-party source this entire section has been waiting for, and it changes the sequencing from "go and earn one" to "time the work around one you already have coming".

What to do when it lands: send us the URL. Wait a few weeks for the article to settle and be indexed, then submit the Wikidata brand item referencing Cool Hunting rather than yoreh.co. That is the difference between an item that reads as promotional and one that clears notability on a real source.

In the meantime the schema graph and corroboration profiles carry the entity on their own, which is why they are unconditional and Wikidata is not.

Earn One Real Citation

The workstream that unlocks Wikidata
The Point

One inclusion is both the Wikidata unlock and a citable asset. Treat it as a priority, not a nice-to-have.

One genuine third-party inclusion changes everything. It makes the Wikidata item submittable, and the inclusion is itself an AI-citable source that feeds the entity directly. This is the single highest-leverage move in this document.

Where To Pitch, And Where Not To Changed from the earlier draft

An earlier version sent you at the Bali jewelry roundups (Honeycombers, BitsofBali, BaliSpirit) because they are the easiest inclusions to win. They are no longer the primary target. The fastest citation is not worth much if it is the wrong kind: a Bali-listicle inclusion is a third-party page asserting a Bali base, which is precisely the association the entity work is unpicking, and third-party pages are far harder to correct later than your own.

Pitch these instead, in order. Each one can name you without placing you:

If a Bali roundup does come up, it is not forbidden, it is framed. The angle is the workshop and the making: handcrafted in a Bali workshop, recycled 925, lost-wax cast. Never "a Bali brand" or "a Canggu label". The distinction sounds pedantic and is not. One describes where the pieces are made, which is true and interesting. The other describes what the brand is, which is the sentence the models have been repeating back at you.

Wikipedia vs Wikidata

So nobody chases the wrong thing
The Point

Wikipedia is out of reach. Do not attempt it. Wikidata, an item later with one earned source, is the realistic target.

Wikipedia is out of reach and stays out of reach until Yoreh has multiple pieces of significant independent coverage. Do not attempt a Wikipedia article. A stub on a 2023 brand with no press gets deleted fast and can sour later attempts. Wikipedia is not on the roadmap for this engagement.

The On-Site Schema Graph

Ship this first
The Point

Five nodes, one canonical @id, real values, gated facts held back. This is the deliverable that actually moves the entity.

A full @id-linked JSON-LD node graph on yoreh.co, every node referencing one canonical organization @id, so Google's Knowledge Graph and the LLMs resolve Yoreh as one coherent entity. This does not need Wikidata and it is what carries the brand.

The location decision, stated plainly. An earlier version of this document put Canggu into foundingLocation, address and the canonical description. That is reversed. The baseline scan found that the moment a model is told Yoreh is a jewelry brand, every answer places it in Bali and none identify the US entity, with 61% asserting a Bali base. Writing Bali into the entity layer would harden the exact read the repositioning exists to undo. What shipped instead: the registered US entity and address are asserted, and founding location is left unstated. Bali stays where it is true and useful, as the workshop, on the FAQ, warranty and returns pages. It is a production fact, not an entity attribute.

sameAs and Corroboration

Stand these up before Wikidata
The Point

The profiles are the entity engine, higher value than the Wikidata item. Build and align them first.

Every profile below is two things at once: a sameAs target in the schema graph, and an independent corroboration source Google reads when it decides whether Yoreh is a real, consistent entity. Google's Knowledge Graph is built from exactly this kind of cross-referenced, consistent presence. Stand each one up and align it: identical name, the same registered US entity details, same URL everywhere. Consistency is what does the work, so a profile carrying a different address undoes more than it adds.

Timing I want to set with you: a Google Knowledge Panel typically appears 3 to 6 months after the corroboration graph is consistent, not immediately. Consistency is the lever. One mismatched address or name variant slows the whole thing.

Disambiguate from Yordy

A real threat, not a footnote
The Point

Every description we write should be un-confusable with the Miami brand. The disambiguator is no longer geography, it is the product.

yordy.co is an established Miami luxury jewelry brand, founded 2018. It is a stronger entity than Yoreh today, it sits in the same category, and its domain is a near-homograph of yoreh.co. If we do nothing, an AI or a search engine can collapse the two or surface Yordy when someone means Yoreh. Bake disambiguation into every surface.

The Basis Changed You flagged this

The original disambiguation strategy was Bali versus Miami. Two jewelry brands with near-identical names, told apart by where they are. You correctly pointed out that this collapses now that Yoreh is presented as US-based and no location is asserted at all.

The replacement is the product, and it is stronger. Yoreh makes smart ring jackets for Oura and RingConn. Yordy does not, and neither does essentially anyone else in fine jewelry. Geography was a weak separator anyway, because two US jewelry brands are more confusable than a Bali one and a Miami one, not less. A category nobody else occupies is a harder thing for a model to blur than a city.

Secondary separators, in order: the named founder (Fin Matson), recycled 925 as the stated material, and the registered entity name in legalName.

Canonical Description String Yordy-proof

"Yoreh is an independent jewelry brand founded by Fin Matson, handcrafting minimalist pieces in recycled 925 sterling silver. The range spans rings, chains, pendants, and bracelets, plus smart ring jackets that turn an Oura or RingConn into fine jewelry. Objects that become identity, for those who don't blend in."

Internal note: this is the description you approved, and it is what shipped to all three places on the theme: the homepage block, the Organization schema, and llms.txt. Reuse it verbatim across schema, meta and profiles. Do not reintroduce a location into it. It carries an explicit "distinct from Yordy (yordy.co, Miami, est. 2018)" purpose, which it serves through the founder name and the smart ring jackets rather than through geography.

Gated Facts

Confirm with you before any structured use
The Point

Gate all three behind your confirmation. Ship the schema without them rather than ship them wrong.

Three facts are unverified. Structured data with a wrong fact is worse than an omission, because AI treats it as authoritative.

Entity Records

Prepared, held for submission
The Point

Both records are correct and ready. They are held, not filed. Submit the brand item only after a real third-party source lands, and never submit the Person item alone.

Recommended Sequence

Wikidata is deliberately last and conditional
The Point

Schema and corroboration are unconditional and first. Wikidata is conditional and last.

# Window Move
01 Days 1–3
Corroboration foundation
Run a consistency audit (one exact name, the registered US entity details, canonical URL). Claim and align Bing Places, LinkedIn company page, Pinterest, and YouTube. No Google Business Profile.
02 Days 3–7
Ship the schema graph
Deploy the @id-linked JSON-LD (Organization, Person, Product, WebSite with SearchAction, BreadcrumbList) with the Yordy-proof description and the full real sameAs set. Gated facts held back.
03 Days 7–12
Earn one citation, confirm facts
Pitch Yoreh into the smart ring jacket and alternative silver roundups named in section 03, and into founder interviews. All the gated facts are now confirmed, so nothing here waits on you.
04 When Cool Hunting lands
Wikidata, referencing that article
Once the Cool Hunting piece is live and has had a few weeks to settle, submit the brand Wikidata item referencing it rather than yoreh.co. The Fin Matson Person item rides with it. If the article slips, do not submit early: the whole point is that the item rests on a source a reviewer can check.

Sources

Grounding and disambiguation targets

yoreh.co (manifesto, meet-the-team, homepage): founder (Fin Matson, sole), founding year (2023, confirmed), materials, positioning. Bali appears as the workshop, on the FAQ, warranty and returns pages, and is not used as an entity attribute. ferofilm.com/work/yoreh: brand launch film credit (vendor credit, not independent editorial): ferofilm.com/work/yoreh Honeycombers: discarded. You confirmed the mention was about a coffee shop, not this brand, so it is not a Yoreh source at all. Cool Hunting (smart ring jackets feature, incoming) is the citation to plan around instead, and the one the Wikidata submission should reference. yordy.co: the Miami luxury jewelry brand (est. 2018) Yoreh must be disambiguated from: yordy.co
