Three Ways
Forward
The build is done and your before-state is measured, but that covers one of the three places buyers find you. Google and the ads you pay for are the other two, and nothing currently reads them together. This is a choice about how many of them we take on from here.
One thing runs at every level: we keep measuring. What changes is how many of the three we take on. You can move up for a busy quarter and back down for a quiet one without starting over.
Where You Are Now
We asked the four big AI assistants 40 buyer questions, three times each, with live web access on. That is 480 answers, and it gave us a clean before-state. Three numbers matter here.
You do not have a reputation problem. When the models find you, they like you, and only one answer in the whole scan was negative. What you have is a discovery problem and an accuracy problem, and both are the kind that respond to steady work rather than a one-off fix.
That is one of the three places a buyer finds you, and it is the only one anyone has read this closely. Your position on Google has never been looked at properly, and your ad spend has only ever been judged against itself.
The corrected version of your site is built, verified and waiting on a preview theme. The brand definition, the FAQs and their markup, the guides, the founder and organization data, the AI-crawler permissions, the review markup and the smart-ring compatibility data across all sixteen jackets.
Publishing it is included in what you already paid, and it is ours to do. We held it on purpose so the baseline could capture a true before-state. That is done, so it goes live first, whichever option below you pick, or even if you pick none of them.
Three Ways A Buyer Finds You
Someone wants a silver jacket for their Oura ring and has never heard of you. There are exactly three ways they end up on your site, and each one is a different job with its own numbers.
They ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity for a recommendation and never type your name.
- Where you stand
- You appear 9% of the time, and 34 of your 35 appearances are smart ring jackets. Google’s own AI box is part of this, and you were in none of the 29 results we checked.
- How we know
- 40 real buyer questions, asked of four assistants three times each with the model versions pinned. 480 answers, read and classified by AI. Opening ChatGPT and typing your name a few times tells you nothing, because the answers vary run to run. This is the only way the number means anything.
- What we do
- Already doing it. The baseline is locked, the fixes are built, two re-scans are booked.
They type the same thing into Google instead, and pick from the ranked results underneath.
- Where you stand
- Unknown. Nobody has read what your pages actually do in search, us included. It was never in scope, so the data has never been looked at.
- Tied to the above
- It runs on the same pages and the same content. A page written so an assistant will quote it is the same page that ranks, so the rebuild we shipped is already half of this work.
- How we would read it
- Search Console holds every query and every page. Most people look at the top twenty rows and stop. AI reads all of it, and reads it against the AI answers we already track, so for the first time the two get looked at together instead of separately.
- What we do
- You grant read-only access once. We read the numbers every month and fix the site against what they say.
They found you neither way, so you pay to put the store in front of them.
- Where you stand
- Your numbers live in two places that do not talk to each other. Meta reports on Meta and marks its own homework. Shopify knows what actually happened. Nobody joins them, so the picture the decisions get made from is always half the story.
- First month
- We plug AI into your ad account and read everything in it, back to the start. Every campaign, ad set, creative and breakdown, not a summary. That is the first full picture anyone has had of that spend.
- Every month after
- The same AI read, monthly. Every campaign, ad set, creative, placement, audience and time window, crossed against each other rather than viewed one chart at a time.
- Why that matters
- A person working from a dashboard can hold a few views at a time. AI reads the whole account at once, and the money a small account wastes is almost never in the headline numbers. It is in the combinations: a creative that works on one placement and not another, an audience overlapping one you already pay for, a time window doing nothing.
- Tied to the above
- The same analysis already holds your AI and search numbers, so for the first time the spend gets judged against what the free channels deliver for nothing.
- Who acts on it
- Your freelancer. We hand over what the data says and what we would change. We do not touch the accounts.
How Far We Go
The first level tells you whether you are being found. The second one gets you found without paying for it. The third tells you whether the money you do pay is going to the right place.
Measured
Google rankings
Paid ads
“Is any of this working?”
You find out every month, on numbers that can be compared. You run everything else.
Found
Google rankings
Paid ads
“Am I being found without paying for it?”
We run your 90-day plan, and we hold the Google side nobody has looked at. A buyer who arrives this way costs you nothing, this month or in two years.
Backed
Google rankings
Paid ads
“Is my money in the right place?”
Your ad spend gets read against the free channels instead of on its own, so you can see what it is actually buying you.
These are all-in prices, not add-ons stacked on each other. Each level contains the one below it. You are choosing one line, not adding them up.
What Each One Includes
Half the answers naming you today still repeat a fact you have since corrected. This tells you whether that correction took, and catches it if it comes back through somebody else’s site months later. It does not fix anything.
A full scan every month. The same 40 questions, four assistants, three runs each, model versions pinned. 480 answers, read and classified by AI.
Numbers you can actually compare. Assistants answer differently run to run, so asking by hand tells you nothing. Three runs is what turns an anecdote into a rate, and pinning the versions is what stops a change in your numbers being a change in the models.
A monthly report. What moved, in which pocket, and what to do about it. Written, in plain language, and yours to keep. Not a dashboard to interpret. Decisions already made.
A monthly call. Thirty minutes. What shipped, what did not, what to fix.
Your trackers kept current. Content, pitches, reviews.
We run the 90-day plan you already have, and we hold the Google side nobody has ever looked at. A page that earns a citation or a ranking keeps bringing people in next year for nothing. That is the difference between traffic you rent and traffic you own.
Everything in Measured.
Two content pieces a week. Written, marked up and published. Each one aimed at a named question from your own scan, not just a topic.
Eight outreach pitches a month. The right editor, the piece actually read, a specific reason you belong in it. We can promise you the pitches. We cannot promise the placements, because editors decide that, not us.
Your review system, built and run. The seeding blast to past customers with jacket buyers first, the always-on post-delivery flow, and the tracker toward the floor of around 38 and the target of 80. Your replies stay yours.
All of your Google data, read every month. Search Console holds every query and every page you have appeared for. Most people open it, read the top twenty rows and close it. We read all of it, against your AI numbers, so the two get looked at together.
Site fixes shipped, not listed. Titles, headings, internal links, schema and page structure, worked across your 70 products and the site, including the pages that get impressions but no clicks. We make the change rather than sending you a list of changes to make.
Weekly progress, monthly review. You see the pipeline as it moves, including the parts of it that did not land.
Your ad spend read by AI, and judged against the two channels that cost you nothing. The point of this level is not to spend more on ads. It is to find out whether you should be spending less.
Everything in Found.
AI plugged into your ad account. Month one we connect your Shopify and your Meta account and read what the data actually says: where the spend is leaking, what each campaign costs you per order, which pages get impressions but no clicks. The first full picture anyone has had of that spend. That is the month one deliverable, not the plumbing.
Then the same read every month. Every campaign, ad set, creative, placement, audience and time window, crossed against each other rather than viewed one chart at a time.
A written call on what to change. What each campaign actually costs you per order, what is earning its place, what to turn off, and where the budget should move. Written so your freelancer can act on it directly.
One report across all three surfaces. When you are paying to reach people who would have found you anyway, or paying for a query the free channels have already won, this is where it shows up.
Your freelancer keeps the accounts. We do not take them over and we do not replace anyone. We read the numbers and make the call.
Your ad budget is separate. You pay the platforms directly. Our fee is for reading the spend and directing it, nothing else.
Nothing else changes. Same content, same pitches, same review system. You are not buying more articles at this level. You are buying a third channel, and the ability to judge all three against each other.
What we need for Backed: read-only access to whichever ad platforms you run, plus GA4. Nothing that lets us change anything or spend anything.

A part-time person who could do all of this would cost you somewhere between €2,500 and €4,000 a month, and you would be getting one generalist. An agency doing the ads alone is usually €1,500 to €3,000, and most of them also take a percentage of what you spend.
We charge a flat fee on purpose. If we took a cut of your ad budget we would have a reason to grow it, and you would never quite know whether the advice was for you or for us. Flat means that when the honest answer is stop spending here, we will say so.
Your 90-day plan says three to five pitches a week. That is the right number if you are running it yourself and outreach is your whole week. We are committing to eight a month, and we would rather commit to a number we hit every month than a bigger one we miss.
The trade is depth. Eight pitches where the right editor is identified, the piece is actually read, and the reason you belong in it is specific, will land more than twenty sent on a template. Your own off-site plan says the same thing: measure landed mentions, not effort.
What Stays With You
Two things we will not take off your hands even at the top level: your Reddit answers and your review replies.
Both work because they come from a real person who actually makes the product. An agency writing them in your name is the exact thing that gets spotted, and on Reddit it is the thing that gets you removed. Being a small studio with a founder who answers is your advantage over a faceless brand, and it is worth more than the time it costs you. We will give you the prompts, the targets and the timing. The words should be yours.
Running the ad accounts stays with your freelancer too, at every level. We are the read on the numbers, not a second pair of hands in the account.
Terms
| Item | How it works |
|---|---|
| Measured | Rolling month to month. Cancel whenever, no minimum. |
| Found and Backed | Three months minimum, then rolling. |
| Moving between levels | Up any time. Down at the end of a term. |
| Paying yearly | Two months free if you prepay twelve. |
| Billing | Monthly in advance, card or wire via Stripe. |
Your own 90-day plan says it: mentions and reviews compound, and most of the visible lift shows at weeks eight to twelve, not week two. A one-month execution retainer would end right before the point where it starts working, and we would both walk away thinking it failed.
Measured has no minimum precisely because it does not have that problem. It is measurement, and measurement is useful from day one.
What We Are Not Promising
- No specific number, and no date. We are not going to tell you that you will hit a certain recognition percentage by a certain week, or that your cost per order will fall by a certain amount. Anyone who does is guessing. What we promise is that the measurement stays consistent, so you can see exactly what moved and by how much.
- On the ads, we are a read, not a rescue. We can tell you where the money is going and what we would change. We cannot promise a cheaper order, because that depends on your margins, your creative and your market as much as on the settings.
- AI reads it. We decide what it means. Running a whole account or a whole scan through AI surfaces patterns a dashboard hides. It does not tell you which of them matter. That judgement is ours, we will show you the reasoning behind it, and sometimes we will be wrong. You will always see what the data actually said, not just our conclusion.
- We count pitches, not placements. Getting named in a roundup depends on an editor saying yes, and that is not ours to promise. What we commit to is a set number of properly researched pitches every month to the targets your scan says matter. Some months that lands something. Some months it lands nothing. We would rather tell you the number we can actually hit every month than a bigger one we would miss.
- Reviews depend on your order volume. The floor of around 38 and the target of 80 are what the category suggests you need to be credible. We can build the system and run the asks. How many people reply is a function of how many orders you ship.
- The head terms will move slowly. Your sharp pockets, the jackets and the meteorite pieces, should move first and clearest. The broad alternative-silver category is a longer grind and we have weighted the effort accordingly.
- You can stop. Measured is month to month for a reason. If this is not earning its place, we would rather you said so than quietly resented the invoice.
What Happens Next
- We publish your rebuilt store. Included in what you already paid. This happens regardless of what you decide here.
- The 90 days start at go-live. That is when the clock begins, not when the baseline was taken.
- You pick a level, or you do not. If you would rather run the 90 days yourself with the playbooks you already have, that is a real option and we will say so.
- We scan at week six. Already included whatever you choose. It shows direction rather than magnitude, and it tells us where to put the effort for the second half.
- We scan again at week twelve. That is the honest before-and-after. It is also the right moment to look at the ad spend together, because by then we know what the free channels are actually delivering. If they are working, the paid budget probably wants moving. If they are not, we will tell you that too.
If you want to talk it through before deciding, that is the easier way to do it. Email cristoforo@nodeagency.ai and we will find a time.
